| Social Psychology Definition One of the subfields of psychology is social psychology. What is social psychology? Below is one definition of social psychology: Social psychology is a subfield of psychology that involves the scientific investigation of (a) how we perceive and think about others, (b) how we influence others, and (c) the nature of our social relationships.
