                IMPORTANT CONCEPTS

This page contains articles pertaining to some important concepts.  These concepts include psychology concepts (concepts concerning feeling, thinking, and human behavior) and scientific concepts (e.g., correlation coefficient).   Some of the psychology concepts can be considered social psychology concepts.  Moreover, some of the concepts can be considered basic psychology concepts.  Gaining knowledge of basic psychology concepts is essential.
The articles may contain examples. More articles may be added in the future.
Some of the psychology concepts concern learning (e.g., observational learning), memory (e.g., the decay theory of forgetting) and judgment (e.g., the hindsight bias).
I have organized the concepts with three categories:  psychology concepts, scientific concepts, and other concepts.
There are many more concepts that are not included in this section of this website.  Textbooks are likely to have many more concepts than are included in this section of this website.  Thus, it may be a good idea to also read textbooks.
